2cm porcelain tiles are extra-thick outdoor porcelain tiles (20mm thick) designed for patios, gardens, and high-traffic areas. They’re stronger and more durable than standard indoor tiles.
They are: thicker, highly durable and weather-resistant, generally these are grip tiles so they are slip-resistant (ideal for wet UK conditions), low maintenance, generally frost-proof and fade-resistant. They make great choices for almost all outdoor applications, patios, pathways, driveways (with the exception of balconies due to weight restrictions). Our selection of non-slip porcelain tiles, with a thickness of up to 10mm, is designed to provide excellent slip resistance, featuring finishes such as R11 or PTV +42. These tiles are ideal for outdoor areas where safety is a priority, offering a hard wearing solution combined with stain resistance while maintaining a stylish appearance. For optimal installation, tiles up to 10mm thick should be laid onto a concrete substrate when used outdoors. If your outdoor space lacks a concrete base, consider exploring our range of 20mm porcelain pavers, which can be installed on compacted MOT Type 1.
